We have an opening in the EHS & Facilities for the role of Sr. Executive/Asst. Manager - EHS & Facilities



We are seeking a diligent and technically skilled professional to ensure our operations meet all environmental regulatory requirements while actively driving improvements in our environmental performance. This role is integral to our site's sustainability efforts, focusing on daily environmental compliance, the efficient operation and maintenance of our Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), and optimizing the environmental footprint of our site utilities. The ideal candidate will combine a strong understanding of environmental regulations with practical engineering expertise to implement solutions and manage critical operational systems.

Job Responsibilities:

Environmental Compliance & Reporting: Monitor site activities to ensure continuous adherence to all applicable local, national, and L'Oreal's internal environmental regulations, permits (e.g., air emissions, wastewater discharge, hazardous waste management), and standards (e.g., ISO 14001). Prepare and submit accurate and timely environmental reports, permit applications, and compliance documentation to regulatory authorities. Conduct regular internal environmental inspections and audits, identify non-conformities, and support the implementation of corrective actions. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of environmental legislation and advise management on potential impacts and necessary actions. Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) Operation & Maintenance: Oversee and ensure the optimal daily operation, monitoring, and performance of the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) to meet discharge quality standards. Supervise regular analyses of ETP influent and effluent, troubleshoot operational issues, and implement process adjustments to maintain efficiency and compliance. Develop and manage the preventative maintenance schedule for ETP equipment, coordinating with maintenance teams and external contractors as needed. Identify and propose engineering improvements or upgrades to the ETP for enhanced performance, efficiency, or compliance. Utility Efficiency & Environmental Improvement Projects: Identify opportunities and implement projects aimed at improving the environmental efficiency of site utilities, including water consumption reduction, energy conservation, and waste minimization initiatives. Monitor and analyze utility consumption data (water, energy) to identify trends, benchmarks, and areas for optimization. Support the design, implementation, and commissioning of new environmental improvement projects, such as resource recovery systems, waste sorting improvements, or minor pollution control enhancements. Collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to integrate environmental considerations into daily operations and new facility projects. Drive and execute strategic project on water towards Zero liquid discharge and water loop. Environmental Data Management & Awareness: Maintain comprehensive environmental records, data, and documentation. Contribute to the site's environmental management system (EMS) and support continuous improvement efforts. Assist in training employees on environmental best practices, waste segregation, and energy/water conservation. Assist to Manager - EHS & Facilities to Implement and oversee ISO14001. Apply new technology as a driving force for process simplification, economical and Effective payback times. Optimize the utilization of available Engineering resources to maximize outputs.

Ability to maintain timelines and assemble project information into clearly written reports that document

findings, actions, and progress.



Coordination & strong follow-up and Project Management Proficient in Microsoft Office. Analytical tools like POWER BI etc.

Education:

BE/B.Tech or equivalent master's degree in mechanical/chemical from a national reputed institute.

Professional Experience:

3-5 Years.
