We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Assistant Manager - Education Counseling to lead and support a high-performing team in a fast-paced inside sales environment. This role is specifically for individuals with proven experience in B2C inside sales, particularly in the EdTech or related sectors. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of lead conversion strategies, team management, and sales performance optimization.
Note: This role is strictly for experienced professionals. Applications from freshers or candidates without relevant B2C sales experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
:
Lead, manage, and mentor a team of inside sales executives to achieve individual and team targets
Monitor day-to-day sales performance, track KPIs, and ensure consistent productivity
Plan and execute strategies to improve lead-to-conversion rates
Analyze CRM data and sales reports to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement
Handle escalated customer concerns professionally and effectively
Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure alignment with sales objectives
Oversee the onboarding, training, and performance evaluation of new team members
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions
Prepare and present weekly/monthly reports to the management
Contribute to improvements in sales processes, scripting, and automation
Key Skills & Competencies
:
Strong leadership and team management capabilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
In-depth knowledge of B2C sales funnels and customer behavior
Proficiency in CRM tools such as Zoho, Salesforce, or LeadSquared
Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data
Goal-oriented with a focus on high performance and results
Experience in training, mentoring, and coaching sales teams
High level of ownership, accountability, and adaptability
Eligibility Criteria
:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred)
8-10 years of B2C inside sales experience, with at least 1 year in a team lead or assistant manager role
Demonstrated success in achieving team targets and improving conversion rates
Prior experience in EdTech, HealthTech, or other high-volume consumer sales is a strong advantage
Age must be 35 years or below
