Job Description

Design and specify mechanical components and systems. Develop, prototype, and test mechanical designs to ensure functionality and performance. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to validate and improve designs. Lead and manage mechanical design projects independently, ensuring timely completion. Ensure all designs comply with relevant safety, quality, and industry standards. Identify and resolve design and manufacturing issues during the development process. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including electrical, software, and QA engineers, to ensure design integration. Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Should have 2+ years of relevant experience.

Balance design requirements with cost efficiency, manufacturing feasibility, and production timelines. Prepare and maintain detailed design documentation, specifications, and manufacturing instructions.

Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent tools.

Strong understanding of materials selection and mechanical manufacturing processes. Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles and production constraints. Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools for effective execution. Awareness of industry standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements in mechanical design. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to address design challenges. Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. Demonstrated creativity and innovation in mechanical design solutions. Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with new technologies and best practices in mechanical design.
