Purpose of the Position
Ensure uninterrupted production by leading mechanical maintenance activities for Final Assembly and Rotor areas, managing TPM execution, spare parts inventory, and tooling maintenance to support high-volume manufacturing in eAxle operations.
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical coordination for mechanical maintenance in Final Assembly and Rotor production areas, ensuring both planned and reactive maintenance.
  • Support series production through proactive issue resolution and continuous availability of mechanical systems.
  • Manage mechanical technician shifts to ensure 24/7 coverage and rapid response to breakdowns.
  • Drive TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) systematics and ensure execution in assigned production areas.
  • Oversee machine accessories and replacement parts management at site, including MAZE planning and control.
  • Manage tooling maintenance processes to ensure availability and reliability for production requirements.
Qualifications
Skills & Competencies
  • Proven experience managing mechanical maintenance for high-volume production lines.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including pneumatics, hydraulics, and tool management.
  • Experience in MAZE inventory control and planning.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills for maintenance operations.
  • Ability to lead teams, coordinate shifts, and manage 24/7 operational requirements.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with production and technical teams.
Education
  • BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
Experience
  • Minimum 10 years in mechanical maintenance roles within high-volume manufacturing, preferably automotive or electrified powertrain sectors.
Additional Information
This role plays a critical part in ensuring the mechanical readiness and reliability of production systems in Electrified Motion's eAxle manufacturing, contributing directly to uptime, productivity, and quality performance.
