: Position Overview : We are seeking an experienced Media PR and Editorial Coverage Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing public relations activities and ensuring effective editorial coverage for our organization. Your primary goal will be to enhance brand visibility and reputation through strategic media relations, content creation, and editorial placements. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in media relations, excellent writing and verbal communication skills, and a proven track record of securing impactful media coverage. Responsibilities: 1. Media Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, influencers, and media outlets Proactively pitch stories, press releases, and other media materials to secure media coverage Coordinate and manage media requests, interviews, and press conferences Monitor media coverage and provide regular reports on media trends and competitor activities 2.Content Creation: Write and edit compelling press releases, media kits, articles, and other communications materials Develop engaging content for various platforms, including websites, blogs, social media, and newsletters Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and insights for content creation Ensure content is in line with brand guidelines and effectively conveys key messages 3. Editorial Coverage: Identify relevant editorial opportunities and secure placements in print, online, and broadcast media Monitor editorial calendars and industry trends to identify timely pitching opportunities Maintain a database of media contacts and track media coverage 4.Crisis Communication: Assist in developing crisis communication strategies and materials Handle media inquiries during crisis situations and provide timely and accurate responses Collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage reputational risks effectively 5. PR agency partner management: Develop and implement strategic media outreach plans to increase brand visibility Ensure PR agency is on-boarded and briefed on all necessary communications requirements on behalf of Meril Demonstrate awareness and curiosity to propose innovative communication strategies, and work seamlessly with the PR agency partner Requirements Key Traits We Are Looking For : 1. More than 3 years of healthcare and pharma communications/PR experience 3. Past experience of working with health and pharma sector clients/companies in a communications role 4. Experience with crisis communication 5. Strong knowledge of industry trends and best practices in health and pharma media relations Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field 4-5 years of experience in media relations, public relations, or related roles Proven track record of securing media coverage in various outlets Familiarity with media monitoring tools and PR software Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously The position is for Marketing and strategy - Location: Delhi Company details : 118, US complex, Sarita Vihar , New Delhi.
