Drive end-to-end development of sheet metal components with suppliers.
Conduct feasibility studies and define manufacturing processes and fixture/tooling (FTG) requirements.
Ensure timely completion of technical signoff with suppliers and customers.
Production & Validation:
Conduct line-side fitment trials and ensure part compatibility with vehicle assemblies.
Lead PPAP & PSW documentation and validation activities in coordination with suppliers and internal teams.
Project & Inquiry Management:
Handle new project inquiries from COE & Suppliers and assess technical feasibility.
Float RFQs to suppliers and obtain techno-commercial proposals.
Coordinate for feasibility reviews and approvals.
Design & Documentation:
Prepare and manage engineering documentation including:
Bill of Materials (BOM)
Process Presentations (PPTs)
Spot Plans
Support data management and design-related activities during development and production phases.
Tool / Fixture design verification & Complete DAP with supplier
Change Management:
Manage Engineering Change Notes (ECNs) for running and new development projects.
Ensure timely implementation and communication of changes across stakeholders.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Automobile/Production Engineering.
Min 2 to 3 years of experience in sheet metal part development and supplier technical assistance.
Familiarity with automotive development processes (APQP, PPAP, FMEA).
Proficiency in CAD / Catia / Auto Cad tools and documentation systems.
Proficiency in Excel & Power point. Key Responsibilities:
