Job Summary

The Assistant Manager will support the Factory/Production Manager in overseeing daily operations of the signage board manufacturing unit. This role includes coordinating production schedules, supervising staff, ensuring quality control, maintaining safety standards, and contributing to process improvement initiatives.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Management

Assist in planning, scheduling, and executing production orders to meet client deadlines. Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Maintain daily production reports and coordinate with the design, fabrication, and installation teams.

Team Supervision

Supervise and guide production floor staff, including fabricators, assemblers, and machine operators. Monitor attendance, productivity, and adherence to safety standards. Conduct training and onboarding for new employees.

Quality Control

Ensure that all signage boards meet internal and client-specific quality standards. Coordinate with the Quality Assurance team for inspections and defect rectification.

Material & Inventory Management

Monitor inventory levels of Parts Coordinate with Mother plant for supplies.

Client Coordination & Support

Liaise with the sales and client service teams to understand customer requirements. Ensure custom signage requirements are accurately interpreted and produced.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or signage-related industries. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Desirable Attributes

Experience in signage manufacturing (LED signs, acrylic letters, totem signs, etc.). Working knowledge of production planning and quality management systems (ISO standards preferred). Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.

Pay: ?40,000.00 - ?50,000.00 per month
