Overview

The main purpose of this role is managing an operations team to provide excellent service delivery and daily production through planning, organizing, and executing verifications/background screening services in the team.

Ensures the organization\xe2\x80\x99s goals and values, high-quality standards as well as business requirements are met.

Initiates, drives, executes, and supports change in the organization.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities-

Team Management: -

  • Support and manage a group of teams in background screening operations.
  • Works closely with Team Leaders and support functions to ensure timely completion of tasks and delivery of KPIs.
  • Sets priorities for leaders to meet daily deadlines; help develop plans to meet short and long-term objectives; conduct coaching and development for leaders.
  • Stays up to date with clients and business requirements; delivers clear and consistent instructions to the teams. Addresses employee queries, issues, and responds to staff\xe2\x80\x99s feedback.
  • Maintains balance between teams expectations and responding to business requirements; takes responsibility for business decisions and adjusts communication style when interacting with teams.
  • Cascades appropriate communication (verbal/non-verbal) to their teams in a timely, professional, and appropriate manner.
  • Motivates and inspires team members to build engagement and increases retention of employees as well as over-achievement of business targets.
  • Assesses situation, draws a conclusion, and implement course of actions.
Performance & Quality: -
  • Responsible for delivery of SLA\xe2\x80\x99s, KPI\xe2\x80\x99s, quality and compliance metrics.
  • Sets SMART (specific, measurable, ambitious, realistic, time-bound) goals aligned with the company\xe2\x80\x99s strategic priorities.
  • Monitor team\xe2\x80\x99s performance by running regular reports, both operational efficiency and client-related, conduct analysis needed and present to leaders.
  • Drive efficiencies across teams and deliver productivity gains. Analyze, plan and execute detailed action plans.
  • Handles escalations and ensures appropriate measures are taken to avoid them in the first place; also creates a sense of urgency and severity.
  • Represents HireRight during client and internal review meetings
  • Organizes and drives regular audits of work in progress; performs close monitoring of adherence and quality of work by the operations team.
Governance & Reporting: -
  • Maintain and publish reports for business and client requirements.
  • Prepare and present weekly/monthly/quarterly review presentations.
  • Conducts periodic performance and career path discussions in accordance with HireRight policies; coaches team members to maximize performance and achieve career goals; implement control measures on performance issues in concurrence with management and HR team.
  • Decision-making guided by policies, procedures, and own business plans, that impact the efficiency and effectiveness of their teams.
Proactively identify and resolve day-to-day technical and operational issues.

Qualifications

Education-

Graduation in any stream.

Knowledge & Skills-
  • Has the ability to lead and be responsible for a group of leaders and deliver results.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written forms.
  • Represent and address a group of people and drive culture.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to change in business circumstances.
  • Ability to work independently and take decisions under time pressure.

  • Has good knowledge of policies and procedures.
  • Good connect with various functional groups.
  • Has supervisory knowledge and skills.
Strong presentation skills including excel, PowerPoint and email etiquettes.
