Role Overview:


We are seeking a highly analytical and collaborative

Assistant Manager

to join our Accounts Payable team. This individual will be responsible for driving cost analysis, variance tracking, and expense reporting across the organization. The role will support senior leadership in understanding key cost drivers and payment trends and will actively collaborate with Treasury, Facilities, IT, and Procurement teams to facilitate timely cash flow forecasting and supplier payment planning.
This is a critical role that will offer high visibility and requires excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform detailed cost and variance analysis for various departments and categories of spend (OPEX/CAPEX). Prepare and present supplier expense reports, dashboards, and key insights to senior leadership on a periodic basis. Collaborate with Treasury team to support cash flow forecasting related to supplier payments. Partner with Procurement, IT, Facilities, and other departments to understand upcoming spend plans, trends, and payment schedules. Ensure financial data accuracy and integrity in alignment with AP and accounting policies. Identify areas of cost optimization and recommend proactive solutions. Support month-end and quarter-end closing processes related to supplier expenses. Drive automation and efficiency in reporting processes using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau. Liaise with auditors and internal stakeholders to support compliance and internal control requirements.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Technical Skills:

Strong financial expertise in cost analysis, forecasting, and variance reporting Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.) Experience with reporting tools like Power BI, Tableau or similar platforms Sound knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Netsuite, JDE) - particularly AP and GL modules Familiarity with cash flow concepts and supplier payment cycles

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting CA/CMA/MBA (Finance) preferred but not mandatory 5-8 years of relevant experience in cost control, AP analysis, finance operations, or a similar role
