Assist in executing marine civil construction activities as per project schedule and budget.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and design specifications.
Support resource planning and utilization in line with the Resource Mobilization Plan.
Coordinate with contractors and site teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
Identify and report potential risks or issues to the Section Head for timely resolution.
Maintain accurate documentation of site progress, inspections, and quality checks.
Facilitate effective communication between site teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement on site.
Roles & Responsibilities
Site Execution & Monitoring:
Support the day-to-day execution of marine civil works, ensuring activities are carried out as per drawings and specifications. Monitor site progress and report deviations or delays to the Section Head. * Resource Coordination: Assist in managing labor, equipment, and materials on site. Ensure timely availability of resources and escalate shortages or inefficiencies. * Quality & Safety Compliance: Conduct routine inspections to verify compliance with quality standards and safety regulations. Report non-conformities and assist in implementing corrective actions. * Technical Support: Provide technical inputs during construction, resolve minor site-level issues, and coordinate with design and planning teams for clarifications. * Documentation & Reporting: Maintain daily progress reports, inspection records, and material usage logs. Ensure timely submission of reports to the Section Head. * Stakeholder Interaction: Liaise with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure alignment and timely execution of tasks. Support resolution of site-level conflicts or queries. * Continuous Improvement: Participate in toolbox talks, safety briefings, and quality improvement initiatives. Suggest ideas for improving site productivity and safety. Qualifications: *Qualifications and Experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related discipline.
Experience: 3-6 years of experience in marine civil construction or similar infrastructure projects.
