The Assistant Manager - Project Coordinator supports the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and monitoring construction project activities. The role ensures smooth coordination between site teams, contractors, consultants, and internal departments to achieve project objectives related to time, cost, quality, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Project Manager in project planning, scheduling, and execution.
Coordinate daily site activities and follow up on work progress.
Ensure execution of work as per approved drawings, specifications, and schedules.
Liaise with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
Track project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
Monitor milestones and highlight delays or risks to the Project Manager.
Maintain project trackers, schedules, and MIS reports.
Cost & Billing Support / Assist in monitoring project budgets and expenses.
Support verification of measurements, bills, and vendor invoices.
Maintain BOQ, variation statements, and cost records.
Quality & Safety Coordination / Support implementation of QA/QC procedures at site.
Assist in site inspections and ensure corrective actions are taken.
Ensure compliance with safety guidelines, statutory norms, and company policies.
Maintain project documentation, drawings, approvals, and correspondence.
Coordinate meetings and prepare MOM (Minutes of Meeting).
Ensure timely approvals and information flow between stakeholders.
Team & Stakeholder Coordination / Documentation & Communication
Support and guide site engineers and supervisors.
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for materials and manpower.
Communicate instructions and updates from Project Manager to site teams.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management.
Experience:
5-10 years
of experience in construction or Industrial & infrastructure projects.
Experience in industrial projects preferred.
Skills & Competencies / Strong coordination and organizational skills.
Timely coordination and issue resolution / Adherence to project timelines and budgets
Accuracy of reports and documentation. / Quality and safety compliance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
