JOB DESCRIPTION Assistant Manager is responsible for managing Nurse auditors and other contract auditors to ensure smooth operations of daily activities and ensuring that audit productivity and quality standards are met. ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
> 7 years of experience in US healthcare
>2 years of experience in team management.
>2 years of broad clinical experience (must be Western Medicine, would prefer nursing experience in the US)
NCLEX Certification Mandatory
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Some ICD-9/ICD-10/CPT coding experience preferred (does not need to be a CPC)
Excellent project management skills, multi-tasking, training skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication
Experience handling minimum of 5-10 small direct Client programs or 1 or 2 large Client accounts independently
Experience in Strategic management
Experience performing transition
Experience handling QA teams
Experience handling 25-50 employees
Strong PC skills; Excel, Word, PowerPoint and internet based programs
ADDITIONAL AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead training sessions for Nurse Auditors.
Develop curriculum and training handbook.
Create presentations.
Perform quality assurance reviews to assess comprehension of training efforts.
Organize and participate in meetings.
Review and respond to questions from reviewers and client.
Research and be updated on the nursing standards and industry standard guidelines.
Conduct reviews and training programs to assure quality.
Perform random chart audits.
Hold regular meetings to communicate new findings.
Perform analysis of benchmarking profiles.
Monitoring team productivity and quality
Monitoring and publishing user performance reports.
Identifying defaulters in team and providing guidance and education.
