Senior / AM acts as a bridge between the articled trainees and Associate Director / Partner. They also maintain good client relationship support and ensure timely completion of assignments.
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Ensuring the execution of work as per audit plan.
2. Ensure that all ATs are utilized to their optimum potential on a daily basis.
3. Acts as a Coach to the ATs and guide them during their Articleship training.
4. Ensure that Work papers are as per the Audit Manual and meet the requirements of the Auditing standards.
5. Maintain a good rapport with the client and ensure that the clients queries are addressed on a timely basis with due consultation with Associate Director / Partner.
6. Ensure that the Associate Director / Partner are updated on the status of the audit on a periodical basis.
7. Participate in technical discussions of the firm and contribute to the knowledge bank.
8. Review and signoff of work papers.
9. Ensuring error free reporting.
10. Ensuring quality of audit and compliance with audit methodology.
11. Timely completion of assignments.
12. Timely response to client queries and escalating to next level, if required.
Qualifications
1. Chartered Accountant (Fresher / CA with 1-2 years of experience)
2. Training / work experience on Listed company / Bank / NBFC audits / working knowledge in SAP will be an added advantage.
