This role provides Layer One support and plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing both broadcast and IT infrastructure. Key responsibilities include:

Broadcast Automation Management

: Oversee and support automation systems, leveraging hands-on experience with ADC Automation, D-Series Automation, VIZRT graphics, and video servers from Harmonic, Imagine, and Grass Valley. Manage media workflows using DIVA Archive System and IBM Tape Library.

Network Configuration & Support

: Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Dell and Cisco switches, utilizing technologies such as VLT, VPC, Port Channels, and VLANs to ensure high network availability and performance.

Infrastructure Design & Implementation

: Design robust LAN, WLAN, and WAN architectures to support seamless broadcast-IT integration, ensuring resilience and scalability.

Device Installation & Configuration

: Set up routers, firewalls, and WiFi systems, ensuring optimal connectivity and security.

Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting

: Proactively monitor systems, resolve network and broadcast issues, and support both on-premises and cloud environments.

Documentation & Compliance

: Maintain detailed documentation, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory compliance.

Upgrade Recommendations

: Propose infrastructure enhancements to improve reliability, scalability, and security.

Technical Liaison

: Act as a key communicator between technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring operational needs are met efficiently.

Job Requirement

Hands on Experience

Hands-on experience in Broadcast IT with ADC/D-Series Automation, VIZRT, Harmonic, Imagine, Grass Valley systems, DIVA Archive, IBM Tape Library, Dell/Cisco switches, VLANs, VLT, VPC, Port Channels, Firewalls..

Skills

Knowledge of Protocols.

Knowledge in maintenance, usage, and design of Network Devices.
