**Job Title: Assistant Manager - BIM Coordinator** **Grade: M0** **Location: BLT Metro Project, Chennai** **Job Summary: ** We are seeking a qualified and experienced Assistant Manager - BIM Coordinator to join our team for the BLT Metro Project. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing Building Information Modeling (BIM) activities, ensuring effective coordination and collaboration among project stakeholders, and driving the successful implementation of BIM methodologies throughout the project lifecycle. **Responsibilities: ** 1. **BIM Coordination: ** - Lead and manage the overall BIM coordination efforts for the BLT Metro Project. - Collaborate with various project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to facilitate effective communication and coordination through BIM. 2. **Model Management:** - Oversee the development and maintenance of BIM models, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project standards. - Implement and enforce BIM protocols to maintain consistency and quality in BIM deliverables. 3. **Quality Assurance:** - Conduct regular reviews of BIM models to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards. - Implement quality assurance processes to identify and address discrepancies in BIM data and models. 4. **Training and Support:** - Provide training and support to project team members on BIM tools, processes, and best practices. - Serve as a resource for troubleshooting and resolving BIM-related issues. 5. **Project Integration:** - Collaborate with project managers to integrate BIM processes into the overall project workflow. - Work closely with design and construction teams to streamline information exchange and improve project efficiency. 6. **Documentation and Reporting:** - Generate and maintain documentation related to BIM processes, workflows, and standards. - Prepare regular reports on the status of BIM coordination efforts and project milestones. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor\'s degree in Civil, Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience in BIM coordination, preferably in large-scale infrastructure projects. - Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and other relevant tools. - Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices related to BIM. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. **Preferred Skills: ** - Project management experience. - Familiarity with relevant local building codes and regulations. - Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. **About Company: ** KEC International Limited, based in Mumbai and part of the RPG Group, is a prominent USD 2.1 billion Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) company.
