Job Description


Reporting to: Manager- BNF Location: Bangalore About This Role: The role is required to contribute to the BNF’s agenda of improving health and nutritional status of children, adolescents and women and their communities in alignment with Britannia’s CSR policy. The person will be a part of the Central BNF Team which drives program strategy, operations and designs processes to improve program delivery and outcomes. Key Job Requirements:

  • Responsible for designing, leading and executing programs to tackle malnutrition
  • Advise project teams and provide expert inputs to ensure high-quality project delivery
  • Accountable for driving engagement with key stakeholders including government, community and further build upon credibility and expertise
  • Create knowledge assets and drive partnerships with the experts in the public health nutrition field
  • Exercise independent judgement to guide project plans, budget, resolution of issues and ensure project tasks are completed according to established timelines
  • Present recommendations for setting, tracking and managing project financials and develop related tasks for project planning and tracking
  • Organize and coordinate employee volunteering activities in the communities in and around the factory locations
  • Identify opportunities for new program development and expansion
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Manager
Skills and Competencies:
  • Ability to set priorities, demonstrate flexibility, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines; good time and team management skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage diverse teams
  • Good writing, analytical, research and problem-solving skills
  • Should be a strong team player, with the ability to quickly gain the confidence of your team, your peers and management
  • Ability to multi-task and deal with ambiguity through research, self-learning and collaboration
  • Strong communication skills, must be able to build consensus and persuade / influence decision
  • Should be comfortable with travelling to tier 1,2,3 cities and rural and interior locations of India
  • Excellent at report writing and presentation making
Qualification and Experience:
  • Masters/Post-Graduate Degree in any/nutrition discipline with a deep understanding of Social/Development Sector in India/Developing countries
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in managing health and nutrition programs
  • Prior experience in leading team is preferred
  • Strong understanding of policy and implementation aspects of public health nutrition programs
