Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive

Assistant Manager - Automation (Python)

to design, implement, and manage automation solutions that improve efficiency across business processes. The candidate should have hands-on experience with Python and a good understanding of process automation in a business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop automation scripts using

Python

for various operational and business tasks. Automate data extraction, transformation, and report generation across

Excel, Outlook, PDFs, Web Portals, and Databases

. Build and maintain

ETL pipelines

and automate repetitive manual processes. Integrate APIs for data retrieval and system connectivity. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective automation solutions. Maintain documentation of processes, scripts, and technical configurations. Monitor and troubleshoot existing automation tools to ensure smooth execution. Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and company IT policies.

Technical Skills Required:

Proficiency in Python

, with strong knowledge of: Pandas, NumPy, OpenPyXL, xlrd/xlwt for Excel automation Selenium or BeautifulSoup for Web Scraping Requests or HTTP libraries for API integration PyPDF2 or PDFPlumber for PDF parsing Knowledge of

VBA/Macros

for Excel-based legacy automations (added advantage). Hands-on with

Windows Task Scheduler or Cron Jobs

for scheduling scripts. Basic understanding of

SQL

and database integration. Experience with version control systems like Git is a plus.
