Responsibilities & Key Deliverables



This position is within the Manufacturing Division offers a dynamic opportunity to lead and manage various aspects of product development and operational excellence. The key responsibilities and deliverables for this role include:
Driving

New Product Development

initiatives to ensure timely and efficient product launches. Implementing

Design for Manufacturing (DFM)

and

Design for Assembly (DFA)

principles to optimise product designs for manufacturability. Overseeing

Change Management

activities to effectively transition projects and ensure stakeholder buy-in. Facilitating

PPAP (Production Part Approval Process)

to guarantee that the manufacturing process meets required specifications. Coordinating

Line Trials

to validate the efficiency of new processes and technologies prior to full-scale production. Championing

Continuous Improvement

initiatives across the team to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Managing

Torquing

guidelines and procedures to maintain high standards in assembly tasks. Leading

Digitization

efforts to transform traditional processes into efficient digital workflows. Implementing

MOST (Maynard Operation Sequence Technique)

for time study and analysis to improve work efficiency. Executing

Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)

programmes to ensure optimal equipment effectiveness. Driving

Lean and Kaizen

methodologies to foster a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency within the team.

Education Qualification



The ideal candidate for this position should possess a solid educational background, including:
A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (BE/B Tech) with a focus on Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Production Engineering.

Additionally, the candidate should have:
A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing industry, specifically in roles that emphasize product development and process optimisation.

General Experience



General experience requirements for the Assistant Manager role include:
A robust experience of 3-5 years, ideally within the Automotive sector or related industries such as Auto Components and Equipment. Proven track record in managing projects or teams in a manufacturing environment, showcasing problem-solving capabilities. Familiarity with industry standards and practices, including lean manufacturing principles, quality management systems, and engineering best practices.

This background will prepare the candidate to address the challenges posed in the manufacturing division effectively.

Critical Experience



The following critical experiences are essential to excel in this position:Hands-on experience with

lifecycle from concept through to production, demonstrating a clear understanding of engineering processes. Experience in implementing

projects, ideally with measurable outcomes, to enhance operational performance. Experience with tools like
