SECTION II: JOB SUMMARY


Sourcing Assistant Manager is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for BESS components and services ensuring the company obtains the best value and quality while managing risks. This involves market research, supplier selection, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring.

Strategy Development:

Conduct market analysis, identify key suppliers, and propose sourcing strategies.

Supplier Management:

Qualify suppliers, build relationships, and evaluate performance.

Contract Management:

Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring compliance and cost-effectiveness.

Risk Management:

Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including price fluctuations and supply disruptions.

Cost Optimization:

Drive cost savings through efficient sourcing and negotiation.

Performance Monitoring:

Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement.

Collaboration:

Work closely with internal stakeholders, including engineering, procurement, and finance.





Develop and implement sourcing strategies for BESS components including batteries, inverters, enclosures, thermal management systems, EMS, and related equipment.
Identify and evaluate suppliers globally, focusing on quality, performance, cost, and ESG compliance.
Lead RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs processes; analyze bids and negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions.
Work cross-functionally with engineering, project management, legal, and finance teams to align sourcing with project needs and timelines.
Monitor supplier performance using KPIs and address any non-compliance or underperformance issues.
Stay informed on market trends, technology developments, and regulatory requirements in the BESS industry.
Develop supplier risk mitigation plans and dual sourcing strategies.
Support contract development and management with legal and technical teams.
Collaborate with logistics to ensure smooth import/export, customs clearance, and delivery schedules.
