Role description JOB DESCRIPTION A Position Overview Position Title Assistant Manager Department Financial Reporting Level / Band 301/Assistant Manager Role Summary : Generates Value of New Business Report (VoNB) on a monthly basis, Work on requests raised by other functions and does Business Planning. B Organizational Relationships Reports To Senior Manger Supervises None C Job Dimensions Geographic Area Covered Pan India Stakeholders Internal Shareholders, Legal, IT, Policy Owner Services External IRDA, Reinsurers D Key Result Areas Generate Value of New Business Report (VoNB) on a monthly basis . Responsible for timely delivery of the quick VONB and detailed VoNB reports to the management Embedded Value Reporting . Assist colleagues in generating the Embedded Value of the organization Coding of new products in PROPHET . Code new products in PROPHET software and validate the results with the corresponding pricing model Checking accuracy of data used for generating the VoNB & EV reports . Carry out checks of policies to ensure accuracy of data provided Annual assumption settings . Prepare and update the assumption template which lists the various assumptions for each product that are used to calculate the underlying VoNB and Embedded Value reports Business Planning . Create sales files and draw the projected balance sheet of the organization. Coordinate and liaison with finance & accounts and corporate planning team for the exercise Annual reporting . Assist in prepare financial conditional report for Appointed Actuary report for IRDA submission Experience Study . Assist in carrying out various experience study like lapse and expenses Annual reinsurance reporting . Preparing LR forms and statements for IRDA submission. Analysis . Carry out Catastrophic risk analysis and assist in annual retention study for the company. . Reinsurance arrangement . Liaising with different stakeholder to finalize reinsurance treaties. . Work on requests raised by other functions . Is responsible to handle related queries and request coming from various stake holders. Risk . Participate in risk mitigation plans, contingency planning, business continuity programs by executing and reporting within defined timelines. Highlight and recommend process gaps, flaws and process changes. E Skills Required Technical Knowledge of PROPHET, MS Access ,Ms Excel is desirable Behavioral Essential Desired Interpersonal skills . F Incumbent Characteristics Essential Desired Qualification Completed CT series and equivalent subjects from the professionally recognized institute only.
