We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager - Accounts with a strong background in hospital/healthcare accounting. The candidate will be responsible for managing daily financial operations, statutory compliance, payroll, and supporting management with accurate reporting.
Roles & Responsibilities
Handle day-to-day accounting functions (AP, AR, General Ledger, Bank Reconciliation).
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements.
Ensure compliance with healthcare-related statutory requirements (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, Income Tax, etc.).
Manage payroll, staff reimbursements, consultant payments, and statutory deductions.
Prepare hospital MIS reports (patient billing reconciliation, department-wise expenses, insurance claims).
Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits.
Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
Implement internal controls and cost-saving measures.
Supervise the accounts team and ensure timely closure of books.
Provide financial analysis to support hospital management in decision-making.
Requirements
Bachelor's / Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
CA Inter / CMA / MBA Finance preferred.
Minimum 4-8 years of Accounts experience in Hospital / Healthcare industry (mandatory).
Proficiency in Tally ERP / Hospital ERP systems & MS Excel.
Knowledge of healthcare billing, insurance claims, and statutory compliance.
Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
