Responsible for the timely and accurate performance of the full range of tasks allocated to self & team. SSC operational ex-cellence and customer service objectives are realized within the given guidelines and policies

What will you be doing?
Payables Operations Management
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions within team
  • Run and analyses team performance and productivity and initiates corrective measures
  • Support invoice processing especially for specific transactions and solve operational escalations/ issues
  • Ensure through reviews / spot checks that team processing quality is maintained
  • Ensure that adequate and updated process documentation and desktop procedures exists and is used
  • Perform other duties as requested by Accounts Payable Management
  • Recognize and communicate potential issues to AP management as appropriate
  • Understand and apply procure to pay processes, policies, procedures and internal control standards
  • Support operational performance reporting activities
People Management
  • Prepare and run daily team briefing/weekly team meetings
  • Plan team capacity, assign team work accordingly and addresses proactively potential bottlenecks/ backlogs
  • Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and hiring StP team resources

End-to-end process improvements
  • Ensure adherence to internal and external guidelines as well as to a standardized process landscape
  • Contribute ideas and actions towards the continuous improvement of processes within area of influence
  • Support process improvements initiatives and related projects

Relationship Management
  • Respond to critical vendor and internal client inquiries (first level escalation cases)
  • Maintain positive work relationships with members of other teams in and outside the SSC to whom information is provided or from whom information is gathered
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external customers and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Interface with other SSC teams to ensure compliance with cross-team responsibilities


What do we expect?
Education:
  • Minimum: 3-5 year graduate degree in accounting or related field
  • Desirable: Business education

Business experience:
  • +5 years experience in AP accounting
  • +2 years in supervisory function
  • Profound Accounting Experience
  • SAP FI accounting experience, ideally in Accounts Payable
  • Working experience within a shared services center/BPO

  • Successfully handles most non-routine issues, escalates to management issues that cannot be resolved
  • Requires minimal supervision to manage team operations and is able to meet published deadlines for activities
  • For this role work time would be from 5.30 pm to 2.30 am for NORAM shift
