Job Role
The individual should be able to manage the following.
1. Full cycle of accounting processes, including accounts payable / receivable, general ledger entries, monthly reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
2. Should be well versed with accounting standards, taxation, filing TDS returns and GST returns for the service industry and have good knowledge of Tally.
3. Should be able to support in preparing financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
4. Should ensure compliance with accounting principles and provide accurate data for finance decision-making.
5. Maintain records for financial reports, analysis, internal controls and reconciliation, internal and external audits.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintain debit and credits and receivable records in tally.
2. Managing cash flow and periodic cash flow reporting.
3. Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
4. Support daily, monthly closure activities and tax planning, tax assessments & returns and tax audit and assist accounts finalisation and income tax filing.
5. Support in monthly GST payments / file returns GSTR 1 & GSTR 3B, GST Audit.
6. Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant financial regulations.
8. Assist in preparing financial reports, statements and coordinate with Statutory Auditors.
9. Identify process optimization, efficiency and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs and improve reporting accuracy.
10. Should possess good analytical and advanced excel skills in performing data analysis and MIS on a monthly, quarterly & annual basis.
11. Support in budget & financial planning in collaboration with stakeholders to deliver robust financial plans aligned with business objectives.
Skills and Attributes
Proficiency in MS Office and Tally.
Excellent understanding of accounting, taxation, TDS, GST, transfer pricing, handling audits (statutory & tax) and matters related to finance and accounts.
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.
Self-starter able to work independently with minimum supervision and also a team player / cross function and internal stakeholders.
Excellent communication & presentation skills.
