The Assistant Manager - Accounts & Finance will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring statutory compliance, supporting financial reporting, and assisting in budgeting, audits, and financial controls. The role requires strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and financial analysis.
Oversee daily accounting activities including journal entries, ledger scrutiny, and reconciliations.
Ensure accurate and timely
month-end and year-end closing

Prepare and review
financial statements
(P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
Monitor
accounts payable and receivable
, vendor reconciliations, and customer ageing.
Statutory & Taxation Compliance
Handle
GST compliance
including returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), reconciliations, and audits.
Ensure timely
TDS compliance
(deduction, returns, Form 16/16A).
Coordinate with consultants for
income tax filings
and assessments.
Ensure compliance with
Companies Act
, applicable laws, and accounting standards.
Banking & Treasury
Manage
banking operations
, fund flow, payments, and reconciliations.
Coordinate with banks for facilities, documentation, and compliance.
Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements.
Audit & Controls
Support
internal and statutory audits
and provide required data.
Ensure implementation of
internal controls
and process improvements.
Resolve audit queries and ensure closure.
Payroll & Cost Management
Review payroll processing, statutory deductions, and compliance.
Analyze costs, budgets, and variances; provide MIS reports to management.
Reporting & MIS
Prepare monthly
MIS reports
, financial analysis, and management dashboards.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
CA-Inter / CMA-Inter / M.Com / MBA (Finance)
Experience:
4-7 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance
Strong knowledge of
GST, TDS, Income Tax
, and statutory compliance
Proficiency in
Tally / ERP
, MS Excel (advanced)
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred
Experience in handling audits and multi-location accounting
Knowledge of
HR payroll systems
and compliance
Exposure to budgeting and financial planning
