We are seeking a highly experienced Assistant Manager - Accounts & Finance to report to and support the Finance Manager in managing end-to-end finance operations including financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, audits, statutory compliance, investment analysis, and team coordination. The role ensures accurate MIS and operational financial support for effective decision-making by senior management.
Key Responsibilities (Reporting & Support Role)
Assist and support the Finance Manager in managing complete accounts & finance operations of the organization.
Support in finalizing group financial statements as per Ind AS under the guidance of the Finance Manager.
Prepare and present MIS reports, budgets, forecasts, and performance evaluations for review by the Finance Manager.
Handle GST (monthly/annual), TDS (quarterly), and annual financial reporting and submit for Finance Manager's approval.
Coordinate with statutory, tax, and internal auditors in consultation with the Finance Manager for timely completion of audits.
Ensure compliance with Company Law, Income Tax, GST, Labour Laws, and auditing standards and report deviations to the Finance Manager.
Conduct ROI analysis of investments and submit analytical reports to the Finance Manager for management review.
Monitor debtors' ageing, cash flow, and bad-debt recovery, and update the Finance Manager on collection status.
Supervise stock audits, inventory controls, and RMA / warranty management, and report findings to the Finance Manager.
Perform financial audits, internal controls testing, due diligence, and audit reporting under the supervision of the Finance Manager.
Assist the Finance Manager in feasibility studies for new business and investment proposals.
Support the Finance Manager in recruitment, training, performance monitoring, and development of the finance team.
Educational Qualifications
M.Com / MBA (Finance) - Mandatory
CA (Inter/Final) / CMA (ICWA) / ACCA - Highly Preferred or equivalent relevant professional experience
B.Com - Mandatory
Certifications in GST, Direct Taxation, Ind AS/IFRS, ERP (SAP/Tally/Oracle) - Preferred
