Job Description

The Assistant Machine Minder supports the Machine Minder in operating, maintaining, and monitoring printing/production machines. The role ensures smooth workflow, quality output, and timely completion of assigned jobs.

2. Key Responsibilities

Assist in setting up printing/offset machines before production runs. Load raw materials (paper, ink, plates, etc.) and ensure availability during operations. Support in machine adjustments for color, registration, and quality control. Monitor machine performance and report any issues or abnormalities. Help in routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic maintenance of the machine. Ensure proper stacking, bundling, and handling of finished printed materials. Maintain records of daily output, wastage, and material usage. Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean working environment. Assist the Machine Minder in troubleshooting minor machine problems. Perform any other duties assigned by the Production Supervisor.

3. Skills & Competencies

Basic understanding of offset/printing machine operations. Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision. Attention to detail and focus on quality output. Physical stamina to handle machine operations and material loading. Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.

4. Qualifications

Minimum: Matriculation / HS / ITI (Printing/Mechanical preferred). Experience: 0-2 years in a printing press or similar environment (freshers may also apply).

Pay: ?10,000.00 - ?15,000.00 per month
