Job Description

Key Responsibilities



Shipment Management & Coordination:



Daily monitoring and updates

of all import and export shipments. Manage

booking, nomination, and intimation updates

with freight forwarders and shipping lines. Provide real-time updates on

in-transit shipments, docking, and arrival

schedules. Coordinate with

purchase, PPC (Production Planning & Control), stores, finance, and logistics teams

to ensure smooth inbound and outbound operations.

Documentation & Compliance:



Oversee all shipping documentation, including

Bill of Lading (BL)

,

Import General Manifest (IGM)

, and other necessary paperwork. Ensure all documents are accurate and complete for customs clearance.

Coordinate with customs brokers

to facilitate timely and hassle-free customs clearance. Monitor and track all customs-related

notifications and regulations

.

Compliance & Risk Management:



Maintain up-to-date knowledge of

EXIM regulations

and

government notifications

. Stay informed on

Anti-Dumping Duties

and other trade remedies that may affect imports. Ensure all procedures are followed to prevent delays or penalties.

Reporting & Analysis:



Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on shipment status, costs, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Utilize

advanced Excel skills

for data analysis and reporting.

Stakeholder Communication:



Communicate effectively with all internal teams and external partners, including freight forwarders, suppliers, and customs agents. Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipments.

Required Skills and Qualifications :



Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related field. 5-7 years of hands-on experience in import and export operations within a manufacturing environment. Proven experience in managing logistics, documentation, and customs clearance. In-depth knowledge of EXIM regulations, shipping procedures, and Incoterms. Familiarity with documentation such as Bill of Lading (BL) and Import General Manifest (IGM). Experience with Anti-Dumping regulations and other trade-related notifications. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory. Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
