to support end-to-end human resources functions at our manufacturing plant. This role will be responsible for statutory compliance, payroll management, talent acquisition, and employee lifecycle processes, while partnering closely with plant leadership to foster a compliant, engaged, and high-performing workforce.
Key Responsibilities
Statutory Compliance & Industrial Relations
Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, statutory requirements, and plant-level regulations
Manage statutory filings and records related to PF, ESIC, labor welfare, gratuity, bonus, factory compliance, and other applicable acts
Coordinate with labor authorities, auditors, and government bodies during inspections and audits
Support disciplinary processes, grievance handling, and employee relations matters in line with company policy
Payroll & Compensation Administration
Oversee monthly payroll processing in coordination with payroll vendors or internal teams
Ensure accuracy of payroll inputs including attendance, overtime, incentives, deductions, and statutory contributions
Address payroll-related queries and ensure timely resolution
Support annual compensation reviews and payroll audits
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
Manage end-to-end recruitment for plant-based roles across levels
Coordinate with functional leaders to understand manpower requirements
Drive onboarding and induction programs for new hires
Maintain recruitment metrics and hiring documentation
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
Manage employee records, HRIS updates, and documentation
Support performance management, confirmations, transfers, and exits
Coordinate training programs, compliance training, and engagement initiatives
Promote a positive workplace culture aligned with organizational values
HR Partnering & Reporting
Act as a key HR point of contact for plant leadership and employees
Prepare HR MIS reports related to headcount, attrition, compliance, and payroll
Support implementation of HR policies and initiatives at the plant level
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Postgraduate qualification in HR/IR/Labor Laws is preferred
5-10 years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing or plant environment
Strong hands-on experience in statutory compliance, payroll, and recruitment
Working knowledge of labor laws and factory compliance requirements
Proficiency in HR systems, payroll tools, and MS Office
Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
