: Assistant HR Manager - Food Industry

Position Overview

We are looking for a dynamic Assistant HR Manager to support the HR department in daily operations within the food industry. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of human resource functions such as recruitment, employee relations, training, and compliance, along with awareness of industry-specific requirements related to food processing and manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in recruitment, selection, and on-boarding of employees across production, quality, and marketing departments.

Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and statutory labor regulations.

Coordinate attendance, payroll inputs, and leave management systems.

Support employee training programs related to food safety, hygiene, and workplace discipline.

Handle staff grievances and employee engagement activities.

Assist in preparing HR reports, performance evaluations, and manpower planning.

Ensure adherence to health, safety, and food industry compliance standards in cooperation with the QA department.

Support HR Manager in policy implementation and continuous improvement of HR systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.

2-5 years of HR experience, preferably in the food processing or FMCG sector.

Basic knowledge of HR operations including recruitment, payroll, employee engagement, and compliance.

Familiarity with labor laws, safety regulations, and food industry workforce practices.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRMS software.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
