Requisites (Core competencies / Skills)
You will be instrumental in managing the full employee lifecycle for our field force, ensuring smooth HR
operations and strategic talent management to support business objectives within the critical care sector.
This role requires a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry's unique demands, particularly in
sales and marketing to hospitals and institutions, along with a solid knowledge of Indian labor laws and
compliance.
Minimum of 4-8 years of experience as an HR Executive/Generalist/recruitment specialist, with
mandatory prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Experience in recruitment and managing HR for a Pharma field sales/marketing workforce is highly
In-depth Knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance.
Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in HR software and MS Office.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and a strong team player.
Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment:
Manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle especially for the critical care sales teams, including sourcing,
screening, interviewing, and onboarding of employees.
Collaborate with other department Heads to understand specific talent needs and develop targeted job
descriptions and sourcing strategies.
Conduct initial screenings and coordinate interviews with hiring Dept/Division Heads. Communicating with
recruiters and other external parties.
Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates to meet the specific requirements of the critical
care market.
HR Operations & Compliance:
Ensure all HR policies, procedures, and practices comply with Indian labor laws and healthcare industry
regulations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
Handle payroll coordination, leave and attendance management, and statutory compliance (PF, ESIC,
Gratuity, etc.). Coordination for Company Group insurance schemes (Life, medical, general).
Prepare HR-related documentation, including offer letters, appointment letters, confirmation letters, and
separation paperwork.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee queries and grievances, fostering a positive and
productive work environment.
Implement employee engagement initiatives tailored to the field force, addressing unique challenges like
high stress and burnout prevalent in the pharma industry.
Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback
sessions for the critical care team.
Training & Development:
Identify training needs and coordinate development programs to enhance the skills of employees
especially the marketing and sales teams, specifically related to critical care products, hospital protocols,
and market dynamics.
