The Assistant Housekeeping Manager is responsible for supervising and coordinating the day-to-day housekeeping operations in a shopping mall. This includes ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance of all public areas, managing housekeeping staff, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff, including cleaners, janitors, and supervisors.
Ensure cleanliness and hygiene across all mall areas: entrances, restrooms, food court, corridors, elevators, parking areas, and management offices.
Schedule and assign daily tasks to staff; monitor performance and ensure task completion.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
Monitor the use of cleaning materials and inventory; place orders as required.
Coordinate with waste management teams for efficient garbage disposal and recycling.
Handle customer complaints related to cleanliness professionally and resolve issues promptly.
Train housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and equipment use.
Assist in the preparation and implementation of SOPs and cleaning schedules.
Liaise with external vendors and contractors for deep cleaning, pest control, and other specialized services.
Ensure compliance with mall safety and hygiene regulations, including fire and emergency procedures.
Prepare reports on housekeeping activities, incidents, and maintenance requirements.

3-5 years of experience in housekeeping operations, preferably in a mall, hospital, hotel, or large facility.
Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety regulations.
Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools.
Working Conditions:
Must be flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays as per mall operations.
Requires physical mobility to move across the premises during inspections.
Occasionally handle minor emergencies and customer issues on-site.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
