Job Title: Assistant Highway Engineer (Fresher)

A Fresher Assistant Highway Engineer JD involves assisting with highway design, planning, and construction, requiring B.E. Civil Engineering, strong AutoCAD/CAD skills, knowledge of industry standards, site inspection, data analysis for reports, and support for senior engineers on projects from initial concept to execution, focusing on drainage, alignment, and safety compliance, with a strong emphasis on learning and technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Planning Support

: Assist in preparing drawings, layouts, and documentation for road schemes, drainage, and related structures using software like AutoCAD.

Site Support

: Conduct site visits, gather data, inspect infrastructure, and support construction activities under supervision.

Technical Analysis

: Help analyze technical data, perform quantity take-offs, and assist in cost estimates and material consumption monitoring.

Documentation

: Prepare progress reports, technical documents, and presentations for stakeholders.

Collaboration

: Work with senior engineers, project managers, and other specialists to find solutions and ensure project delivery.

Compliance

: Learn and apply design standards, safety guidelines, and quality control measures.

Research

: Assist in gathering data for highway policies, standards, and new solutions.
Qualifications & Skills:

Education

: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.

Technical Skills

: Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD essential), MS Excel, understanding of highway materials, construction methods, and surveying.

Analytical Skills

: Ability to analyze technical data and solve basic engineering tasks.

Soft Skills

: Strong communication, teamwork, adaptability, and attention to detail.

Knowledge

: Basic understanding of highway engineering principles, industry standards, and safety practices.
