About Aseema:

Aseema Charitable Trust is a Mumbai based non-governmental organization with a mission to equip children from marginalized communities with high quality, value based education enabling development of their limitless potential. It works in partnership with the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai and is currently running three MCGM schools - The Pali Chimbai Municipal School and Pereira Wadi Municipal School in Bandra (West) and The Kherwadi Municipal School in Bandra (East).

In Igatpuri, Aseema works with very poor tribal children who live in the remote tribal village to provide them with quality education. Today we reach out to more than over 3000 students and besides the finest quality of education, we provide them with nutritious meals and also attend to their physical and mental well-being. Co-curricular activities like sports, art, music, dance, judo and yoga are carried out in all our schools so that the children receive a well-rounded and holistic education. We also cater to over 900 alumni who are studying at Universities and also assist them with securing employment. Aseema's training team woks with low-income schools in Kanpur and Lucknow and trains teachers there on Aseema's education approach.

Key responsibilities:



1. Supervise and oversee end to end recruitment across all levels ensuring timely closures

2. Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes ensuring smooth transitions and complete documentation

3. Supervise and monitor attendance, leave management and payroll processing

4. Implement HR Management System to ensure smooth running of HR operations

5. Provide HR reports to senior management by analyzing data using HR metrics

6. Organize and conduct staff training, and employee engagement programmes

7. Visit schools and address employee grievances with fairness and timely resolution.

8. Deal with grievances and policy violations invoking disciplinary action when required

9. Develop systems to curb absenteeism and employee turnover.

10. Draft, update and communicate HR policies and SOPs ensuring clarity and compliance.

11. Enhance employee experience and engagement, fostering a positive, inclusive and high performance culture.

Required skills and experience:



8-10 years of experience in HR leadership roles, preferably in the education sector Sound knowledge of Human resource management and best HR practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently Diligent and high work ethics Proficiency in Excel and HR management systems Knowledge of data analysis and reporting Ability to work against tight deadlines
