Plan, monitor, assess resources, direct and act to ensure adherence to the Construction program to complete the project within the contract period,
Determine and monitor work methods and performance of Contractors and employees in order to ensure compliance with their obligations and the company’s management plan & to deliver the project within the budget.
Advise and provide input into negotiation and selection of contractors and suppliers in order to meet project cost and quality.
Managing terms and deliverables of Contracts in order to protect the Company’s risks and obligations.
Providing input into cost control in conjunction with the commercial department and cost consultants in order to manage project cost and risk.
Regular review HSE safety at work site in order to ensure a safe work environment, in line with the Company’s management plans.
Coordination of interfaces between sections and suppliers in order to ensure project requirements are managed.
Administer, review and report on contractor payments, instructions, correspondences, contract notifications and variations in order to limit financial exposure and ensure
performance of contractor obligation.
Certify, prepare, review and approve contractor progress claims.
Liaise with site team through site visits, construction meetings, etc., on project activities and progress in order to accurately report and administer.
Work closely and regularly with architects, engineers, contractors and project owners in the general implementation of the project.
To prepare final certifications and final close out deeds to all the contracts including but not limited to final variation orders, EOT, Final completion certificate etc.
Administer re-measurements for construction design in order to achieve accurate cost forecasting for contractors and/or procurement of materials.
Ensure that the bond and bank guarantees under the contracts are renewed and maintained for the expected period.
Reporting and escalate Commercial Status and contract Liability of various packages to the Management.
Project the potential risks of contract variations by evaluation and review of site instructions.
Preparation and issue of contract tender packages as per scope and specification requirements to pre-qualified prospective contractors.
Conduct and review pre bid meetings
Co-ordinate with Design team Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE) and preparation of report
