The AGM - Sales will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic market expansion, appointing and managing distributors and super stockists, and ensuring strong sales performance across assigned territories. This role requires a proven track record in building distribution networks, achieving aggressive sales targets, and leading high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities1. Sales Expansion & Market Development
Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
Identify new markets, geographies, and product opportunities to drive business growth.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to formulate proactive strategies.
2. Distributor & Super Stockist Appointment
Identify, evaluate, and appoint new distributors and super stockists in potential markets.
Ensure proper onboarding, training, and operational alignment of channel partners.
Negotiate trade terms, margins, and service-level agreements to ensure long-term partnerships.
3. Channel Management & Relationship Building
Strengthen relationships with existing distributors, super stockists, and key accounts.
Implement effective channel management strategies to ensure optimal product availability.
Monitor distributor performance, inventory levels, and secondary sales to ensure healthy sell-through.
4. Sales Team Leadership & Performance Management
Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and regional targets.
Drive a performance-oriented culture with clear KPIs, reporting, and accountability.
Conduct regular sales reviews, market visits, and training sessions.
5. Sales Operations & Reporting
Oversee demand forecasting, sales budgeting, and stock planning for assigned territories.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales performance, channel health, and market intelligence.
Collaborate with marketing, logistics, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.

Qualifications & Experience
MBA/PGDM in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management (preferred).
10-15 years of experience in sales & distribution management
, with at least 3-5 years in a senior sales leadership role.
Experience in FMCG, consumer durables, industrial products, or similar industries with
strong distribution-led business models
