Job Description

The Assistant General Manager supports the General Manager in planning, coordinating, and controlling company operations, including project execution, production, finance coordination, collections support, and site management. The role requires strong operational oversight, effective communication, and the ability to coordinate with department heads, site officers, and teams to ensure projects are executed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic & Operational Support



Assist the General Manager in implementing business and operational strategies aligned with company objectives. Support daily operations across production, projects, finance, HR, and administration. Monitor operational performance metrics and report progress, issues, and risks to the GM.

Financial & Commercial Coordination



Support budgeting, cost control, cash flow monitoring, and collections follow-ups. Assist in reviewing financial performance and preparing reports for senior management. Coordinate procurement activities, vendor negotiations, and resource allocation under GM guidance.

Team Leadership & Coordination



Support and guide department heads, site officers, and staff to ensure alignment with company goals. Act as a link between management and operational teams to ensure smooth communication and execution. Assist in staff performance monitoring and operational discipline.

Project & Site Management



Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, quality, safety, and timeline adherence. Coordinate with site teams to resolve operational challenges and ensure smooth execution. Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, environmental, and contractual requirements.

Communication & Stakeholder Management



Coordinate with clients, vendors, consultants, and internal departments as required. Provide regular operational and project status updates to the General Manager. Promote inter-department coordination for efficient workflow and timely delivery.

Qualifications & Experience



Any Bachelor's Degree

(preferred fields: Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Finance, or related disciplines).

Preferred experience in Marine, Construction, or Production industries.

Proven experience in an Assistant Manager / Senior Manager / Operations leadership role. Strong coordination, leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Pay: ₹65,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
