Job Description




As our next Assistant Front Office Manager, you\xe2\x80\xa6

Will support the Front Office Manager to run operations to the highest standard.

Will provide guidance and support to the Reception & Night team; helping them to achieve their potential and accomplish overall departmental objectives.

Will facilitate the effective running of front office operations with a hands-on approach.

Will help guests and create positive experiences.

Will be confident in all aspects of guest relations, receiving and recognising all guests including those who require special attention.

Will maintain strong working relationships and lines of communication with all departments.

Will act as duty manager as and when required.

Will want to grow and develop in the role and to succeed in the hotel and company as a whole.

Our hotel offers 68 bedrooms (with a further 12 apartments currently being built) and 3 meeting rooms, perfect for a variety of events and occasions. Guests can take advantage of our onsite restaurant, lounge and bar for a relaxing food and / or drink experience. The hotel is located in the centre of Salisbury, providing the ideal site from which visitors can explore the wonders of Wiltshire.

To ensure you can best welcome and care for our guests you will need to be fluent in English.

Understanding things from our guest\xe2\x80\x99s perspective is key, so while you are settling into your new role we will arrange a one-night stay for you to experience this first hand.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

Candidate must possess a minimum two to five year experience in a supervisory role in a hotel or similar work environment along with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently. Excellent verbal and written English skills. Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and computer skills. Willingness and ability to work to a flexible schedule to meet business demands. Assist with additional projects or requests as needed.
