GST Compliance: Automate and streamline GST processes, provide inputs to tax consultants, review & file monthly GST returns, and manage notices, audits, and inquiries from GST authorities.
Direct Taxation (TDS/TCS & Corporate Tax):
Review TDS/TCS setup for vendors and customers.
Conduct periodic invoice reviews and rectify discrepancies.
Coordinate with external consultants to ensure timely tax payments and compliance.
Assist in corporate income tax audits and regulatory filings.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on evolving tax regulations and ensure adherence to all direct and indirect tax requirements.
Accounting, Financial Reporting & Audit (50%)
Financial Statements & Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, P&L, and cash flow statements.
Month-End Close: Collaborate with the APAC Financial Controller for month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely journal entries and adjustments.
Audit & Internal Controls: Coordinate with external auditors for statutory audits, support internal audit processes, and implement strong internal controls.
Process Optimization: Automate and streamline financial workflows to enhance efficiency and minimize manual intervention.
Required Candidate Profile
Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5+ years of post-qualification experience in taxation, financial reporting, and accounting.
Big-4 articleship preferred; expertise in GST, TDS, Corporate Tax, and handling tax notices & audits.
Prior experience in a manufacturing setup (preferred).
Advanced Excel skills are a must; proficiency in PowerPoint and Power BI is a plus.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with consultants, auditors, and internal teams.
