Job Description

Taxation & Compliance (50%)

• GST Compliance: Automate and streamline GST processes, provide inputs to tax consultants, review & file monthly GST returns, and manage notices, audits, and inquiries from GST authorities.
• Direct Taxation (TDS/TCS & Corporate Tax):

• Review TDS/TCS setup for vendors and customers.
• Conduct periodic invoice reviews and rectify discrepancies.
• Coordinate with external consultants to ensure timely tax payments and compliance.
• Assist in corporate income tax audits and regulatory filings.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on evolving tax regulations and ensure adherence to all direct and indirect tax requirements.

Accounting, Financial Reporting & Audit (50%)

• Financial Statements & Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, P&L, and cash flow statements.
• Month-End Close: Collaborate with the APAC Financial Controller for month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely journal entries and adjustments.
• Audit & Internal Controls: Coordinate with external auditors for statutory audits, support internal audit processes, and implement strong internal controls.
• Process Optimization: Automate and streamline financial workflows to enhance efficiency and minimize manual intervention.

Required Candidate Profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5+ years of post-qualification experience in taxation, financial reporting, and accounting.
• Big-4 articleship preferred; expertise in GST, TDS, Corporate Tax, and handling tax notices & audits.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing setup (preferred).
• Advanced Excel skills are a must; proficiency in PowerPoint and Power BI is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with consultants, auditors, and internal teams.
