Assistant Director/ Director's Assistant- Well networked experienced individual with knowhow of Mumbai Film Industry

Tech-savvy, Presentable, Brainiac, Excellent Spoken English, Own Laptop, Located around Goregaon

After the theatrical release of Mcguffin, Roar Picture Company is recruiting team members for next Feature Film and other projects-

Requirements:

1. Film Graduate with basic Social Media skills

2. Working knowledge and understanding of all the various departments on a film set.

3. Excellent Spoken/Written English Communication

4. Comfortable with long working hours, great with planning and management skills.

5. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

6. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

7. Should know about Shot designing, frame size/ magnification, camera lenses, etc

8. Ability to multi-task and delegate.

9. Assisting in cast/crew hiring and set designing

10. Working Knowledge of various AI softwares and Tools utilised in filmmaking. Technical know-how is the core of this profile.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Scheduling meetings with Crew, Clients and other departments;

2. Facilitate Collaboration and Outreach;

3. Receives incoming communication, reviews content, determines importance, and takes necessary action;

4. Follow project timelines and teams for completion of milestones as per timelines

reported

5. Maintaining and tracking reports as per timelines

6. Conducting relevant research on instructions of the director

7. Supporting the Direction team in the execution

8. Assisting the Director with creative feedback

9. Handle production and set management

10. Creating pitch decks whenever necessary

11. Tracking daily progress against the filming production schedule

12. Arranging logistics

13. Preparing daily call sheets

14. Checking cast and crew, and maintaining order on the set.

Location: Goregaon East, Mumbai

Roar Picture Company is an Independent Film Production Company based out of Mumbai, India. Helmed by Rohit Arora, it is the production company behind the 2020 feature film "The Pickup Artist" which Premiered at the 52nd Worldfest Houston in the United States winning 2 Remi Awards and a nomination for the best-supporting actress followed by a successful film festival journey with premieres in several places like the Netherlands, Columbia, UK, Brazil, Moscow, New York, and more. Thereby, the movie was released domestically in Indian Cinemas on 16th October 2020 becoming the first movie to be released post covid lockdown, and had a 6-week-long theatrical run with several houseful shows.

In 2021 the movie was released on Amazon Prime where it still enjoys successful viewership.

We just Released our second feature film #McGuffin in Theatres across India.

We believe that the Indian Film space is lacking worldwide appeal, and we intend to fill that void.
