Job Description

The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager supports the Food & Beverage Manager in overseeing all F&B operations to ensure excellent guest service, efficient departmental performance, compliance with hygiene and safety standards, and achievement of revenue and cost-control targets.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Management



Assist in managing day-to-day food and beverage operations across outlets, banquets, and room service. Ensure smooth coordination between kitchen, service, stewarding, and stores. Monitor service quality and resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally. Support planning and execution of events, banquets, and special promotions.

Staff Supervision & Training



Supervise F&B service staff and ensure proper duty rosters and attendance. Assist in recruitment, induction, training, and performance evaluation of team members. Motivate staff to maintain high service standards and teamwork. Ensure grooming, discipline, and adherence to SOPs.

Quality, Hygiene & Safety



Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (HACCP / FSSAI / local regulations). Conduct regular hygiene inspections of outlets, kitchen, and storage areas. Ensure safe handling, storage, and service of food and beverages.

Cost Control & Inventory



Assist in controlling food and beverage costs through portion control and waste management. Monitor inventory levels and support stock-taking procedures. Coordinate with stores for timely ordering and proper stock rotation (FIFO).

Financial & Administrative Duties



Assist in achieving departmental revenue targets and controlling expenses. Support preparation of reports related to sales, staffing, and operations. Ensure proper documentation, billing accuracy, and compliance with company policies.

Guest Experience & Brand Standards



Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction and handle feedback effectively. Ensure brand standards and service guidelines are consistently followed. Actively participate in upselling and promotional activities.

Qualifications & Experience



Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality preferred Minimum

3-5 years

of experience in Food & Beverage operations At least

1-2 years

in a supervisory or assistant managerial role Knowledge of POS systems and basic financial controls
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
