Job Introduction Assistant Facility Manager should help us maintain a secure and well-functioning work environment. To be successful in this role, he should be well-organized and able to prioritize multiple issues. Major Responsibilities Manage maintenance program assess maintenance problems, determine need for large scale projects, and recommend proposals as appropriate review maintenance plans and specifications to ensure departmental requirements are met. Should be well versed with services like Electrical distribution, AHU, PAC, BMS, UPS, Lightings, Lab setups. Should be well versed with administrative services like Cafeteria, Pantry, Transport, Hotel Bookings, Security services, Washroom maintenance, Event management. Investigate damages to facilities, determine responsibility and assess charges for damages assist in development of related policies coordinate room inspections upon vacancies. Manage security and safety and ensure compliance with applicable codes and proper functioning of security and safety systems recommend improvements issue keys ensure keys and door cards are accounted for as specified by department policy change locks and replace keys and cards as needed. Should be well versed with HSE standards. Prepare budget for service area monitor and ensure adherence to budget apprise supervisor of variances evaluate and control maintenance costs monitor and verify accuracy of charges against service area funds authorize expenditures within budgetary limitations assist in managing other funds as assigned. Prepare operational reports and analyses setting forth progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations and conclusions. Assign work to and monitor performance of assigned employees ensuring proper distribution of assignments and adequate manning, supplies and equipment for performance of duties meet with subordinates to ensure compliance with standards, practices and policies train new personnel in proper procedures. Knowledge and Education High school diploma or Bachelor\'s degree in facilities management Work Experience Minimum 5 years\' experience as a facilities manager Awareness. Unity. Empowerment.
