Qualification: Must be done bachelors in B.Tech-Textile engineering Job description Assistant Fabric Manager Role Description Material management is a scientific technique, concerned with Planning, Organizing & Control of flow of materials, from their initial purchase to destination. You will be responsible for Sourcing management for Link Apparel and also responsible for constantly researching new fabrics and maintaining the present vendor network and developing new supplier networks wherever necessary. Additionally you will be responsible for Advising the Organization on sourcing constraints and technical parameters Ensuring that Inventory management is being followed in the right manner Ensuring Trims management is being done in the right manner and processes Sourcing Management Take programs of sampling from Business Heads/ Team Leaders for providing required materials Ensure timely procurement through Field Executives Ensure proper information about Prices ( at different Quantity levels), Lead times and MOQ is informed to Business Heads Ensure sourcing from network approved vendors and only source from extended supply chain if required material is not available from them. Ensure call outs are advised before proceeding with orders Ensure proper MIS to accounts and Finance on regular basis. Manage Material Suppliers Relationship ( Includes maintaining Database, PO's generation, Bill clearing, Quality Management) Team Management
