Job Purpose
We are seeking a dynamic, organized, and proactive
Assistant Event Manager
to support our senior management in the end-to-end execution of events. This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses excellent communication skills, and has a passion for turning creative concepts into reality.
Note:
As this role often involves client styling, bridal coordination, and managing high-touch hospitality for diverse social and corporate gatherings, a
female candidate is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Event Planning & Logistics:
Assist in the conceptualization, planning, and scheduling of events ranging from corporate seminars to grand weddings.
Vendor Management:
Liaise with vendors (catering, decor, AV, transport) to negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of services.
On-Site Coordination:
Act as a key point of contact on the day of the event to oversee setup, manage schedules, and troubleshoot any immediate issues.
Client Relations:
Maintain professional communication with clients to understand their requirements and provide regular updates on project progress.
Administrative Support:
Manage event-related documentation, including budget trackers, guest lists, floor plans, and post-event reports.
Marketing Assistance:
Support the team in developing promotional materials and managing social media updates for upcoming and past events.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience:

Communication:
Fluent in
English and Malayalam
. Ability to converse professionally with corporate clients and coordinate effectively with local vendors.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Familiarity with social media tools and basic design software is a plus.
Personal Attributes:
Highly organized with a "can-do" attitude.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and late evenings, as per event requirements.
A keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
