Job Description

WSP is currently recruiting a talented and highly motivated system administrator to join our Operations Team in Canada. The team is distributed across eastern Canada and is a predominantly remote position. The position will be part of a team focused on improving Digital Environment's cloud infrastructure. The team is responsible for improving operational stability, controlling costs, migrating and updating infrastructure, improving system security, and working with the development team to ensure that their systems run efficiently at scale.

You will have the opportunity to work across the stack from a system's front-end all the way back to investigating a server's networking.



Design, develop, test, debug, and document systems Investigate, document, and implement solutions to operational issues Automate the maintenance and provisioning of cloud infrastructure Communicate effectively with team members Participate in an on-call support rotation Other duties, as assigned.

Required Skills

Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience A Computer Science or Software Engineering degree Excellent troubleshooting skills Experience with version control using Git Excellent oral and written communication skills Experience with Ubuntu, Amazon Linux, or Red Hat Enterprise Linux Experience with Docker, ECS, or other containerization platforms Experience with cloud services such as AWS or MS Azure

Experience with Windows Experience with at least one of the following programming languages: JavaScript, Python, or C# Experience with Networking. Experience with relational database management systems, such as PostgreSQL and MSSQL
