Assistant Engineer Buyer for driving the 100% Material Fulfillment in coordination with Commodity Buyer

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsible to work with Commodity Buyer for assigned list of Suppliers. 100% responsible for Material fulfillment for assigned Commodity with overall ownership of material ordering, availability, and scheduling targeting 2-week inventory levels, at a minimum.
Be responsible for raw material scheduling, procurement follow up and expediting.
Coordinate with Buyer for plotting the Material visibility to plot the FG unit readiness. Analyze and track Supplier promise date accuracy and develop reports to ensure Supplier promise date accuracy
Identify and react to material plans that do not meet customer requirements.
Partner closely with suppliers focusing on: Packaging needs, min/max planning. PCNs, as they relate to old/existing parts, materials replenishment planning

Qualification:

Diploma (Mechanical/Electrical) from a reputed college /university Person should be pursuing the BE Degree 1-3 years of experience in Purchasing and Material Management

Preferred Qualification:

Familiarity with Six Sigma/Problem Solving tools
