The Assistant Electrician will support the electrical team in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. This role requires hands-on experience with electrical tools and the ability to follow detailed instructions from senior electricians.
The ideal candidate should have a TOT (Training of Trainers) certification, qualifications such as ITI (Industrial Training Institute)
Diploma, or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, and experience working in a government skill development project.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation and Maintenance:
- Assist in the installation of electrical systems, components, and equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of electrical systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs under the guidance of senior electricians.

Safety Compliance:
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure proper handling of tools and materials.

Technical Support:
- Support senior electricians in complex electrical projects.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
- Assist in wiring, conduit bending, and installation of electrical panels.
4. Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on tasks.
- Document any changes or updates to electrical systems and report to supervisors.
5. Tool Management:
- Ensure the proper care and maintenance of electrical tools and equipment.
- Keep the work area organized and clean.
6. Training and Mentorship:
- Leverage TOT certification to train and mentor junior staff or apprentices.
- Conduct skill development sessions as required by the project.

- Participate in government skill development projects, contributing technical expertise.
- Collaborate with project teams to achieve training and development goals.

- Stay updated with the latest electrical codes, standards, and best practices.

Qualifications:
- Educational Requirements:
- ITI in Electrical, Diploma in Electrical Engineering, or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- Certification:
- TOT (Training of Trainers) Certification is mandatory.
- Experience:
- Prior experience working on government skill development projects is required.
- Practical experience as an electrician or in a related role.
- Skills:
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Proficiency with electrical tools and testing equipment.
