Job Title: Assistant Editor/Senior Sub Editor/Sub Editor (Print Publication)Job Summary:ITV Network Print Edition invites applications for the role of Assistant Editor/Senior Sub Editor, responsible for oversee news content, tone, and quality in its print publication.The ideal candidate will manage and producing high-quality, engaging content that informs and resonates with readers.JOB ROLES:- Oversee content and style of the publication, ensuring tone, quality, and accuracy- Decide which stories to run and assign reporters/writers to cover them- Ensure accuracy, clarity, and journalistic standards are met. - Edit articles, verify facts, and proofread content to ensure it meets quality standards. - Often tasked with developing content ideas that fit well with the publication and sorting through submissions to decide what should be published.- Contribute to developing new stories and features for the publicationRequirements:- Prior experience of minimum 3-22 year in an editorial role, preferably in print publication- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills- Strong knowledge of publishing software (e.g., Photoshop, InDesign)- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines- Strong leadership and team management skills.Industry: Print MediaJob Type: Full TimeJob Location: Okhla-DelhiWorking Days: 6Budget: Open for discussion (ref:updazz.com)
