10:00 am to 4:00 pm (Monday to Saturday)
Performing thorough physical examinations and taking medical histories for all patients.
Managing a wide range of acute and chronic physical ailments, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, respiratory infections, and minor injuries, that patients may have in addition to their mental health conditions.
Documenting patient symptoms, diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress to ensure continuity of care across different healthcare settings.
Prescribing medications for physical conditions and closely monitoring all prescribed drugs (including psychiatric medications) for side effects and interactions, in consultation with the psychiatrist.
Offering guidance on diet, exercise, stress management, and other lifestyle factors to promote overall well-being and prevent future illnesses.
Acting as the first point of contact for medical emergencies within the facility, stabilising patients.
