AstroVed is looking for a highly capable

Assistant Director professional

with

relevant experience in the movie or media industry

to manage and execute our

AV Entertainment Channel

.

This role requires strong hands-on expertise in

direction, media production, and execution

, with a sharp eye for content quality and storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the

AV Entertainment Channel

end-to-end. Handle

media production activities

, including pre-production, production, and post-production coordination. Support and execute

directional responsibilities

, including scene planning, shot execution, and content flow. Coordinate with camera crew, editors, artists, voice artists, and production teams. Ensure timely execution of shoots, edits, and content releases. Maintain quality standards aligned with creative and brand expectations. Assist in scripting discussions, storyboards, and execution planning. Manage day-to-day production schedules and ensure smooth on-set operations.

Required Skills & Experience

Relevant experience as an Assistant Director

in the

movie industry, television, OTT, or digital media

. Strong understanding of

direction, shot composition, and production workflows

. Hands-on experience in

media production and execution

, not just coordination. Ability to manage multiple moving parts during shoots and productions.

Tamil language proficiency is mandatory

(speaking, understanding, and on-set communication). Working knowledge of basic production tools and workflows. Strong organizational, coordination, and execution skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight production timelines. Background in

film sets, production houses

. Candidates currently working or previously worked as

Assistant Directors

. Passion for storytelling, visuals, and content creation.
Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period are highly preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
