Bachelor degree or equivalent qualification with minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
Purpose of the position:
Support the formulation and execution of the AR process, assist in reviewing and managing the customer onboarding process, monitor collections, and contribute to achieving DSO targets by ensuring timely follow-ups and escalation where required.
Key Tasks
Assist in formulating and implementing AR & Credit Control processes in line with company policy
Support customer onboarding process compliance by ensuring required checks and documentation are in place.
Prepare, update, and circulate weekly AR reports to respective account holders and/or customers
Fortnightly reporting to the Manager covering progress and irregularities
Conduct customer follow-ups for collections through calls, emails, and in-person visits where required Work towards achieving collection targets (DSO, overdue percentage of AR) in coordination with the Manager Credit Control
Proactively identify and escalate problematic accounts to the Reporting Manager for timely intervention
Obtain payment advises as and when collection is done
Periodic Balance confirmation to be obtained from customers
Coordinate with internal teams for quick resolution of customer disputes impacting collections.
Maintain and regularly update the customer master database with accurate and current information.
Monitor and highlight risks to avoid potential bad debts.
